Students in the ECA still have the opportunity to:

Participate in sports

How Do I Get Admitted to the Early College Academy?

Be a student entering ninth grade
-
Attend an informational meeting held in November or December at AIHS
-
Follow proper protocol for Choice Application if AIHS is not my feeder high school

Completely fill out an ECA application and assure its timely return to AIHS by January 13, 2016

The packet includes a personal essay; recommendations from teachers, the school counselor, and the school principal; and academic, attendance, and discipline records

Visit AI Early College Website for a link to the application

Attend a panel interview in February 2016 if accepted in the first round

Students will receive letters communicating whether or not they are accepted through the first round of the application process

Attend a summer information session, if officially accepted into the program
