Alexis I. DuPont High School is a comprehensive public high school serving students in grades 9-12. Our expansive and well-equipped facility is the cornerstone of a thriving school community. With 3 very active booster organizations, Alexis I. DuPont High School is a shining example of what happens when parents, students and staff work together for the common goal of academic success. A Newsweek magazine Great American High School 9 times over, AI boast a state of the art distance learning lab, a fully operational observatory and a greenhouse; providing students with the opportunity to learn through non-traditional methods. AI currently offers 17 Advanced Placement courses and 2 Dual-Enrollment College courses; challenging our students with the most rigorous courses content is our primary goal. Thanks to our exclusive partnership with Wilmington University, we have taken the concept of the Dual-Enrollment to the new level through our Early College Academy.
Our students have ample opportunities to select courses above their graduation requirements, thus providing them with necessary experiences to better identify their college and career goals. Unique course offerings such as Chemical and Biological Aspects of Forensics, Historical Fiction, Military History, and Legal Process expose students to an eclectic array of content. Whether a student is engaged in an iPad only classroom, or working-out in one of our 2 gymnasiums, AI can meet the needs of all students in an environment that promotes high academic standards and PRIDE in your school.
